Because CritterSail sells multiple product categories, return eligibility depends on the product type:
1. Personalized & Custom Artwork
Includes:
- Personalized Sea Guardian portraits
- Any custom-made or made-to-order artwork
🚫 Final Sale
Personalized and custom items are non-refundable and non-returnable, except in cases of damage, defects, or production errors.
This is consistent with U.S. consumer law and Printful/Printify policies.
2. Ready‑Made Artwork & Products
Includes:
- Ready-made art prints
- Marine Kinetic Automata
- Non-custom books and merchandise
These items may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery, provided they are:
- Unused
- In original, sellable condition
- Returned with original packaging
Return shipping costs for non-defective returns are the responsibility of the customer.
If your order arrives:
- Damaged during shipping
- Defective due to materials or workmanship
- Incorrect (wrong item or size)
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue
Once confirmed, we will offer:
✔ Free replacement
✔ Repair (when applicable)
✔ Full or partial refund
At no additional cost to you.
All CritterSail products are backed by a 1‑Year Limited Warranty from the date of delivery.
What the Warranty Covers
- Defects in materials
- Defects in workmanship
- Structural issues under normal use
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper handling
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by environmental conditions
At our discretion, warranty claims may result in:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Store credit
- Email support@crittersail.com
- Include your order number
- Describe the issue clearly
- Attach photos if applicable
Our team typically responds within 1–2 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item
- Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund
We do not offer direct exchanges. If eligible, items must be returned and a new order placed.
Due to shipping costs and customs regulations, international orders are final sale, except in cases of damage, defects, or fulfillment errors.
CritterSail reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
